Emesis se formó en la ciudad de La Plata bajo el nombre "Osiris" en diciembre del año 2000. Entre 2001 y 2004 la banda tocó ininterrumpidamente. Grabó "Paramecio", y recién entre 2007 y 2008 tocó con otra formación. Emesis fue: Francisco Cadierno, Ezequiel Dobrovsky, Sebastián Gismondi, Martín Urdangarín, Alex Paes, Manuel Pardo, Hernán Rueda, Emiliano Alonso, Luciano Kulikov y Ezequiel Perez.
